When inspecting a screw, what should you do if the GO stops and the NOT-GO passes, contrary to normal?

In that case, the screw judgment will fail.

The NOT-GO gauge has a low chevron to check only the single effective diameter.
If the NOT-

What to do if you can't get your ring gauge off

One of the reasons why it can't be removed is that the gauge is stuck at an angle.

It is better to hit them lightly with a plastic hammer

answer

Both PF and G are parallel threads for pipes, but the gauges have different dimensional tolerances. Therefore, it is possible to pass with a PF gauge but fail with a G gauge.

G and PF gauges cannot be shared.

Use the gauge as directed in the drawing.

answer

The limit gauge measures the fit, not the length correctly.
Since there is a chamfer and an incomplete pile at the tip of the thread, it is not possible to make an accurate judgment.

For example, the imperfection of both end faces of a parallel screw gauge depends on the size and pitch, but is not less than 3/4 turn and no more than 1 turn.

answer

In gauge inspection, the accuracy of the drawing indication cannot be substituted for gauges of other precision.

This is true even if the gauge to be substituted is within the specified tolerance of accuracy.

As a rule for using gauges, the accuracy of the thread gauge must be consistent with the drawing instructions.

Only one accuracy c
