Tool selection based on HRC hardness

When the material to be machined is not listed in the corresponding material column of the catalog, or when the properties have changed due to tempering, etc., the hardness of the workpiece material is one guideline for tool selection.

Normally, there is a protrusion " external center " at the tip of the spiral fluted tap attached to M6 or lower.

Since there are various types of resins, different taps are suitable for different properties.
Thermoplastic resins: Acrylic, vinyl chloride (PVC), etc.

Tools for stainless steel with good sharpness are suitable.

Are there any taps that can be processed by 6H?

6H stands for internal thread accuracy.

Is there a tap that can be processed with a internal thread accuracy 6H in the drawing instructions? It means. Separate information such as size and pitch are required.

The spark plug standard is M14S × 1.25. See JISB8031.
Since OH4 falls into the category of OH4 accuracy, A-SFT's M14×1.25 (STD+1) (= OH4) corresponds to it.
