This is a long shank type end mill with a thick blade (= a shape with a tool outer diameter larger than the shank diameter) that is suitable for deep standing walls and pocket machining of L/D = 5 or more in non-ferrous metals.
By changing the protruding length, various processing depths can be accommodated.
During side step machining, it is possible to make an axial cut of up to 2.5D (during resin processing) at a time, and the end face of the shank side is R-shaped, so the generation of streaks on the finished surface can be suppressed.
