How to adjust > adjustable threaded round dies
When using an adjustable threaded round die (ROUND DIES), the effective diameter is adjusted by turning the adjustment screw.
At the time of shipment, it is adjusted near the center of the external thread accuracy grade 2.
The standard for turning the adjustment screw is within ± 1/4 turn. It can be used for applications such as external thread processing of under-sized coating thickness that is planned to be plated with a plating of about 5~10μm. When adjusting, please process it with a test material and inspect it with a screw ring Tap each time.
Please adjust with a flat-blade screwdriver.
Turn the screw to the right→ external thread becomes thicker.
Turn the screw to the left→ external thread becomes thinner.
