I would like to know about the maintenance of the screw gauge .
The measurement method for wear inspection is stipulated in JIS as follows.
Inspection method
parallel screw plug gauge
・Effective diameter measurement is performed by the three-needle method.
・Three hands for screw measurement are fixed.
・The measurement force is determined.
parallel thread ring gauge
• Wear point screw plug gauge required.
Wear check screw when plug gauge is screwed in
Current JIS: It must not be screwed in more than one turn.
It should not be pull out as previously JIS:
