answer
What is a G-thread?
It is a screw commonly called a parallel screw for JIS (ISO) pipes, and it is a parallel screw for mechanical coupling of the current JIS standard. (JIS B 0202)
・Both the male and female threads are represented by G.
・ It is the G thread that fits into the G internal screw.
・Thread angle is 55 degrees
・The name is expressed in inches, and the pitch is expressed in the number of mountains between 25.4mm. (e.g. G1/2-14, G3/8-19)
・The tolerance is different from Rp, the external thread is on the negative side, the internal thread is on the positive side, and there is no gap tolerance.

Thread Machining Tools & Thread Gauges
・Thread processing tools (threading round dies and taps) can be shared with the conventional JIS parallel screw PF (male thread and female thread) for pipes.
・The screw gauge cannot be used for PF screws because the thread standard tolerance is different. It is necessary to use a gauge for G-threads.

- Mechanical bonding in the connection of pipes, pipe components, etc.
