What is an RC screw?
It is a thread commonly called a tapered thread for JIS (ISO) pipes, and it is a tapered internal thread for tight bonding. (JIS B 0203)
・Female threads are denoted as Rc. The threads that fit together are R (taper).
・Thread angle is 55 degrees
・The name is expressed in inches, and the pitch is expressed in the number of mountains between 25.4mm. (e.g. Rc1/2-14, Rc3/8-19)
The taper angle is 1/16 taper. The slope angle on one side is 0.5/16 taper, 1°47'23" per angle.

Thread machining tools (taps and thread mills) and thread gauges
・PT (tapered external thread, tapered female thread) can be used as a thread processing tool.
・The gauge used to inspect the Rc internal thread is an R tapered plug gauge. (Gauge notation: R)
・PT (tapered male thread, tapered female thread) gauges cannot be shared because the thread standard tolerance is different.

use
・The main purpose of connecting pipes is to make the threaded part tight and resistant
