Is centering required before drilling ADO-SUS?

In the ADO, ADO-SUS series, in the case of a flat surface,

Alternatively, centering is not required if the processing depth is less than or equal to 8 times the diameter.

For processing on curved surfaces, etc., or when there is a particularly strict specification of the hole position, use a centering drill with a tip angle of 140° or more.
