ADO-SUS Step Machining
When processing SUS in the ADO-SUS series, it is basically recommended to use a non-step.
This is because step processing increases the opportunity to rub the inside of the hole, resulting in work hardening.
The strain on the blade by the step causes a decrease in the service life.
If the chips are difficult to divide and discharge, check the situation with a step (pick feed) of about 1 times the drill diameter.
For heat-resistant alloys such as Inconel 718, step processing should be performed according to the situation when exceeding 3D.
