The wear inspection screw plug gauge is a gauge to check whether the limit ring gauge for screws is too worn.
The diameter of the limit ring gauge for screws increases as it is used and worn. If the diameter becomes too large due to wear, the ring gauge will not be able to make a correct pass/fail decision.

Checking whether the gauge is too worn is called calibration.
It is common to ask a calibration agency such as OSG.
[Problems with ring gauge calibration]
・ The gauge cannot be used while requesting a calibration agency
・ A special plug gauge is required
・ If it becomes NG in regular proofreading, it is difficult to go back and find out when it was NG.
These problems can be remedied by managing the gauge with a wear inspection gauge.
