What is pick milling (High-speed stepping) G73
pick milling is a method of forcibly separating chips by separating the cutting edge from the machining point when machining a material that cannot be separated at a hole depth of 3D or less. (It does not discharge chips)
Stepping back to the entrance of the hole, while pick milling only goes back a little (about 0.1 mm).
In the program, it is expressed as G73 in G code.
pick milling is sometimes referred to as high-speed stepping.
