What is the PD Series of Indexable Drills?
PD is a high-efficiency indexable drill with oil holes that pursues chip discharge.
(Indexable: chip interchangeable, meaning throwaway)
The high chip evacuation performance enables stable machining even under high-efficiency conditions.
We offer a lineup of 2, 3, 4, and 5D according to the processing depth.
It can be used for both tool rotation (machining center) and workpiece rotation (lathe).
The same insert can be used on the outer periphery and center blade. (Outer and inner blades are shared, 4-corner specification (φ12~14.5 is 2-corner specification))
