For threading castings, straight fluted tap is recommended.
When casting is performed with A-SFT, it may not be discharged properly because it will be fine, sandy chips instead of the connected chips when processing general steel.
In addition, A-SFT, which has a cutting edge specification that emphasizes sharpness, is not suitable for machining castings that are prone to tool wear.
For castings, we recommend casting straight fluted tap or general straight fluted tap .
