Hot-dip galvanizing is also known as dobu plating. Due to the thick plating coating thickness , we do not have a stock product in our company. Depending on the plating thickness, an oversize of about +0.3 mm may be required for the tap.

 

Oversize taps in stock have an oversize of +0.02 mm for every +1 to the STD, which is not enough oversize to process internal thread before hot-dip galvanizing.

 

Please consider internal thread processing with a thread mill or special products.
