ductile cast iron is cast iron with improved strength and ductility. "Ductile" means "stretching" in English, and it is hard and stretchy, making it difficult to cut. It is also sometimes referred to as spheroidal graphite cast iron.
JIS symbols include FCD450 and FCD600.
Note that the higher the number, the stronger it will be and the more chips will connect.
