It is a mounting screw for a photographic lens for a movie camera specified by JIS, and 1-32U is referred to as a "C-mount screw".
The tap is a special product, but if you can use threadmill , you can process it with the multi-point type of chip interchangeable Hi-Pro threadmill ( chip is a standard stock product).
Similarly, it is a solid type threadmill that can be used with " threadmill WH-VM-PNC No.8-32 for small diameter screws" and "AT-1 32 types with 32 peaks".
