It is stipulated by JIS that the calibration of the plug gauge should be performed by measuring by the three-needle method.
In some cases, calibration is performed in-house by the user, but it is not easy because it needs to be done by a qualified technician in terms of equipment. Therefore, we recommend that you send it to a calibration company or gauge manufacturer including OSG.
Calibration certificates and traceability certificates can also be issued. (Charged)

If you want to calibrate your wear-prone GO plug gauge (GP) in a simple and short period of time, we also offer the Wear Inspection Screw Ring Gauge (GPW).
* The Wear Inspection Screw Ring Gauge (GPW) is a gauge that is not specified in JIS and is set independently by OSG. Please use it after discussing the operation with your business partner.

We sometimes receive questions about whether ring gauges such as GR and IR can be used to calibrate plug gauges such as GP, but they cannot be used for calibration because they are used for different purposes. Also, please note that it is not possible to make it possible to use something that has been rejected in the calibration process again.
