In Japan, there are many cases where it is one of the following.
- Refers to the "nut tap" (product name symbol = NT) used in a machine dedicated to nut processing
- It refers to " spiral fluted tap (product name symbol = SFT)" and " spiral pointed tap (product name symbol = POT)" in the sense that it is mainly machined rather than hand-processed.
On the other hand, the following cases also exist overseas.
- Straight groove (product name symbol MT) = Refers to the straight fluted tap specification in Japan
