Why is it that the WX-ST-PNCΦ10 can do Rc1/4 and Rc3/8, but PNGT can't Rc1/4?
PNGT was developed for Rc3/8.
The WX-PNC, a carbide thread mill developed later, was designed to be 1/4 the size of the thread.
Since the chevron is different, we do not recommend 1/4 processing with PNGT.
However, the WX-ST-PNC is currently discontinued.
